IntelliPulse™ — cellular
delivery of therapeutics

Reversible electroporation uses short electrical pulses to briefly open the cell membrane, allowing virtually any therapeutic to enter the cell — the most direct, accurate and effective methodology of therapeutic delivery. Once the pulse stops, the cell closes, trapping the therapeutic inside the targeted cells.

What is reversible electroporation?

01

Before Pulse

The cell membrane is intact. Therapeutic molecules remain outside the cell and cannot cross.

02

During E-Field

The electric field induces a voltage across the cell membrane, transiently opening pores and introducing genes or drugs.

03

After Pulse

The membrane reseals and the cell heals with the gene or drug now inside.

Enhanced molecular delivery

Moderate heat (43°C), real-time impedance feedback, and addressable electrodes assure the practitioner that delivery has occurred — and make over-treatment impossible.

How does IntelliPulse™ work?

Drug Delivery

Chemotherapy is driven into tumor cells, causing cell death via the drug’s own mechanism of action at a fraction of systemic dose.

Gene Delivery

Cells take up a gene and then produce the therapeutic molecule it encodes, turning the tumor into its own drug factory.

Ablation

Over-pulsation is used to directly kill cells via irreversible electroporation, without thermal damage to surrounding structures.

Competitive advantage

150V

vs. 1300V legacy systems

Dramatically lower voltage than incumbent electroporation platforms.

Real-Time

Impedance feedback

Tumor Sense reads tissue during treatment and adapts delivery.

1/10th

Procedure cost

Roughly one tenth the cost of a comparable radiotherapy course.
